Medusa Contest Results
Our winner is JAMES STEARNS, for his story “The Woman from Kisthene.”
Congratulations, James!
Hello Beasties!
Here are the results to the Medusa Contest—our big winner, and nine honorable mentions who put on a damn good show.
Our honorable mentions represent different takes on the Medusa myth, in a variety of settings and genres. They’re all unique, and yet they all reflect the myth in their own ways.
Actually, there were a LOT of stories this time around that put on a damn good show. Thank you so much to everybody who entered! I had a great time reading your work, and I hope you had fun creating it, too.
Here are the winner and honorable mentions, listed in the order they’ll be published on Mythic Beast. There will be links to the stories here once they’re published.

As for Orpheus + Eurydice, I apologize for not having entries open yet. You are all free to start writing—I’ll get the technicalities worked out asap! I’ve had some topsy-turviness with my own writing business that needed to be seen to before I could focus on Mythic Beast.
Thank you for your understanding!
